About the Program
What Is Food for Life?
Food for Life is the world\'s largest vegetarian food relief movement, active in more than 60 countries. ISKCON Kanpur runs Annadana Seva as part of this global initiative.
Every Sunday, over 500 guests receive sanctified prasadam after kirtan and discourse. During festivals and emergency situations, distribution is scaled to support larger communities in need.

How It Works
The Spirit of Prasadam
Prasadam is first offered to Krishna with love and devotion, then distributed to all. It is spiritually purifying and prepared with high hygiene standards.
There is no charge for prasadam. It is shared freely as annadana, the gift of food, considered one of the highest forms of charity in Vedic culture.
We serve devotees, visitors, students, and underprivileged families. Sunday Feast alone hosts 500+ guests each week.
The entire program is powered by volunteers and donors. Every contribution supports nourishment with dignity and spiritual care.
