A Visionary Journey
Founder-Acharya Tribute
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
In 1965, at the age of sixty-nine, Srila Prabhupada traveled from India to the United States on a cargo ship with nothing but forty rupees and a trunk of sacred Vedic texts. His mission: to share the timeless wisdom of Bhakti Yoga with the world.
From a small storefront in New York, he ignited a global spiritual revolution that now spans over 600 centers worldwide. His vision for spiritual education was simple yet profound: to create a society where every human being could find their true home in the service of the Divine.
ISKCON Kanpur stands as a testament to his desire to establish centers of spiritual excellence across the heart of India, providing a sanctuary for the soul amidst the bustle of modern life.

04
Sankirtana Movement
To teach and encourage the sankirtana movement, congregational chanting of the holy name of God, as revealed in the teachings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
